the Small Business Innovation and Research grants program, we offer special
expertise in adapting the French Label Rouge quality certification program
for North American growers. While originating with poultry, today the
Label Rouge certification program covers meats, dairy products, fish,
and produce items. Based on the attributes of quality most important to
consumers, the Label Rouge denotes products with regional identities that
meet some of the strictest quality requirments in the world. Our experience
with this program and other quality labeling and “eco-labeling”
